Enjoy a relaxed lock free narrowboat holiday cruising on a short break from Tardebigge, you can cruise to the village of Lapworth and back, the home of the National Trust’s Packwood House.

Explore historic waterways along the Worcester & Birmingham Canal, through the remaining Forest of Arden, to Kings Norton Junction.  You then transfer onto the scenic Stratford Canal to reach moorings in Lapworth.

From there, it’s a short walk to the Tudor Packwood House, owned by the National Trust with 150 acres of parkland, orchards, woodlands and gardens to explore, including the famous Yew Garden.  The journey to Lapworth takes around seven hours each way and passes through three tunnels, a timeless heritage route with easy cruising and relaxed short break.
